I am a small town journalist with big-city writing skills. I am extremely capable of writing interesting and well-researched articles on any number of topics. I love to do interviews and research and am a stickler for proper spelling and grammar.

I am a 1997 journalism graduate of Red River Community College's two-year Creative Communications program, where I also gained experience in public relations, advertising, radio broadcasting and television production.

I bring 10 years of experience of writing for community newspapers (seven years as an editor) and writing and doing radio news.

Photography is an interest that has been honed during my years as a journalist and living in British Columbia gives me ample opportunities to capture natural beauty with a camera.
